A Year of Reflection and Growth
The idea of wrapping up the podcast began over a year ago. At first, the thought felt strange and uncertain. The podcast had become a significant part of my identity. However, by mid-2024, it was clear we weren’t hitting our goals. The truth was, we were stretched too thin—trying to balance podcast production with growing our YouTube channel, Pinterest strategies, Instagram mastery, and ad campaigns.
We had to make a tough decision: focus on fewer things to do them exceptionally well. As much as we loved the podcast, it became clear that sunsetting it would open the space we needed for deeper impact elsewhere.
The podcast was also started when K+C creative was a brand focused around me as an individual, The Krissy Chin. With the new business identity launched in early 2024 it feels right to close the podcast that I started as an individual and focus on what Claire and I are creating together for you.
Lessons From 200 Episodes
Over six seasons, Badass is the New Black became a treasure trove of insights for entrepreneurs. With 200 episodes covering everything from collecting better testimonials to creating standout logos, the podcast remains a valuable resource. It’s our mission to ensure these episodes continue to serve you, whether you’re reprogramming your mindset, building a sales page, or learning about media coverage.
While the podcast won’t have new episodes, the legacy of free, actionable content will live on—and we encourage you to revisit and share it.

During the MixerMind retreat in Mexico, a moment of clarity struck me. Asked to complete the sentence, “I am my best when…,” I realized: I am my best when I am supporting business owners one-on-one.
This insight reaffirmed my passion for working directly with you—whether through coaching, building websites, or creating funnels. It’s this personalized support that truly lights me up.
A Hard Truth at OOLA Palooza
At a recent event, attendees were asked to stand if they attended the previous year; then to sit if you did not reach a single goal you had written down in 2023. I was the only one who sat down. It was humbling but eye-opening. I realized I needed to set clearer, more intentional goals for 2025 with a plan to get there, not just hope for better. One of those new goals?
