• Kajabi has been a powerhouse since 2010, offering tools for courses, coaching, community-building, email marketing, and more—all in one place. It’s especially known for its intuitive, user-friendly interface and extensive support and community resources.
• AttractWell, on the other hand, is a flexible, affordable option that caters to small business owners just starting out, with built-in tools for email and text marketing, course creation, and sales funnels. For Young Living brand partners, AttractWell offers Get Oiling, a specialized platform with similar features but additional resources tailored to that community. 

Kajabi: Pros and Cons

Pros

1. No Transaction Fees: Kajabi doesn’t take a cut of your sales, so you only pay for the platform, not a percentage of your revenue. This can be a big plus if you plan to sell a lot.
2. Unlimited Marketing Emails: Unlike some platforms, Kajabi offers unlimited emails, so you won’t have to worry about hitting a cap.
3. High Contact Limits: With its generous contact limits (up to 10,000 on the Basic plan), Kajabi supports business growth without needing constant upgrades.
4. Strong Community and Support: Kajabi offers 24/7 chat support on higher tiers and a vibrant user community, including a Facebook group and live events.
5. Versatile Products: Host courses, coaching programs, podcasts, communities, and even affiliate marketing—all in one place. Kajabi’s product options are designed to support diverse online business models.
6. App Access for Customers: Your customers can use Kajabi’s app for easy access to their content.
7. Your Own Branded App. For an additional charge Kajabi will build out your own custom branded app. 

Cons

1. Higher Starting Price: Kajabi’s plans may be pricier although they do have a Kick Starter plan for $69 a month, It does have with fewer starter options than AttractWell. While it’s worth the investment for some, it might not fit every budget.
2. Requires an Integration for E-commerce: To sell physical products, Kajabi typically requires an integration with Shopify, adding complexity and cost as you will also need to pay for Shopify.
3. No Text Message Marketing Built In: Kajabi lacks built-in SMS marketing, which AttractWell offers. However you can integrate a 3rd party text service with Kajabi.

AttractWell: Pros and Cons

Pros

1. No Transaction Fees: AttractWell doesn’t take a cut of your sales, so you only pay for the platform, not a percentage of your revenue. This can be a big plus if you plan to sell a lot.
2. Lower Cost of Entry: AttractWell’s pricing is designed with beginners in mind, making it an affordable option for new business owners who may not need all of Kajabi’s features.
3. Text Message Marketing: AttractWell includes SMS marketing in majority of their plans (excludes Starter Plan), which can be a game-changer for businesses that rely on instant communication. 
4. App Access for Owners and Customers: Both you and your customers can use AttractWell’s app for easy access and management of your content.
5. E-commerce Store Options: AttractWell includes an e-commerce shop, allowing you to sell physical products with built-in tax calculations and product variants (like size and color). However it is not as robust platform as Shopify (designed for e-commerce business) but it may have everything you need to launch your shop with no add ons or extra fees!
6. Effortless Resource Sharing: AttractWell lets you quickly share pre-made email sequences and resources via a link—no need to copy and paste. This can be a timesaver for team-based or collaborative business models. Good for direct sellers that have other team members on the platform and they want to share resources or if your business creates resources for business owners. 
7. Community Area: Has a community area for members to converse and share with scheduled posting capabilities. You can have multiple communities. (Each course you have could have it's own community)
8. Backend editing via mobile app: Not only can your students access content via a mobile app but you can also edit your contacts and courses inside the mobile app as well. 

Cons

1. Additional Fees for Higher Volume: AttractWell has limits on contacts, emails, and uploads, so as your business grows, you may face additional charges.
2. Less Intuitive Layout: While functional, AttractWell’s interface may require more clicks to access specific settings, making it slightly less intuitive than Kajabi.
3. Limited Integrations: AttractWell doesn’t have as many integrations as Kajabi, so if you rely on third-party tools, it may require workarounds like using Zapier but will require additional cost to use something like Zapier.
4. No Branded app is available at this time.

Key Considerations When Choosing Between Kajabi and AttractWell

1. Budget and Scaling: If you’re just starting out and have a smaller budget, AttractWell provides a cost-effective entry point. But if you want a comprehensive solution with room to scale, Kajabi might be a more seamless investment in the long run.
2. Email and Text Marketing Needs: Kajabi offers unlimited email sends starting at the basic plan, which is ideal if you plan to communicate frequently with a large list. AttractWell offers unlimited email sends with every plan. If SMS marketing is essential to your strategy, AttractWell’s built-in texting feature may be a deciding factor.
3. E-commerce Support: AttractWell includes an e-commerce add-on for selling physical products directly. Kajabi, while still capable of supporting e-commerce, generally requires integration with Shopify for more advanced features.
4. User Interface and Community Support: Kajabi’s interface is widely praised for its simplicity, which can be appealing for those who prefer a visually organized platform. The robust Kajabi community is another plus and 24 hour support makes it convenient to get help when you need it. AttractWell, while having a solid user base, doesn’t offer the same level of external support options such as experts creating templates and training, though it does include some essential training and resources. They also have weekly work sessions you can attend and get support. 
5. Video Size: AttractWell allows unlimited length video sizes, whereas Kajabi is limited to 4 GB per video. (size of video is based on quality and length - we have uploaded videos as long as 2 hours with no issue on Kajabi)
6. AI: Both platforms integrate AI 
7. To-do's and follow up features: AttractWell allows you to automate set to-dos, reminders, follow-ups, track 1:1 client progress, upload private files for yourself, see an overview of upcoming and past bookings & call packages. While Kajabi doesn't have a to-do list feature automated 
8. Calendar booking: AttractWell offers a special booking type called “call packages”.  This allows you to sell packages of calls or sessions and the system will keep track of how many are used automatically, and can even have expiration dates. AttractWell allows you to set different availability on each booking type link, and you can have as many booking type links as you want on some plans. Kajabi allows you to have one availability across all links. AttractWell’s booking system is integrated with the built-in Zoom, so it can automatically create meeting links for each booking, or reuse an existing meeting. It also allows you to set up links that allow people to choose between online and one or more other locations to meet (e.g. online or in-person) using a single booking type link. (We use Calendly or Tidycal to offer unique links to clients.)
9. Product limits: Kajabi allows up to 200 products for an additional cost. AttractWell allows you to add on as many classes (same as products) as needed for an additional $17/mo.
10. Add On's: for $99 a month you can double your limits on any Kajabi Plan. for example if you needed 30 products but didn't want to jump to the next plan for $99/mo you can double the amount of features. 
11. Course Design features: Kajabi offers a variety of design layouts for products. Great if you need flexibility in design for your offerings. AttractWell has a limited layout for their Classes (equivalent to products)

Final Thoughts: Kajabi and AttractWell Are Both Great Options

While we admit we are a little biased to Kajabi as it is the platform that we have used since 2016 and have not found enough benefits to switch to AttractWell (it would be a big process), we know serving a variety of clients that there are platforms that may serve one business owner better. 

Both Kajabi and AttractWell provide powerful solutions for growing your online business. Kajabi stands out for its simplicity, scalability, and dedicated community, making it ideal for established businesses or those looking to scale quickly or incorporate complex integrations down the road. They do also have a Kickstarter option for new businesses starting at an affordable price $69 a month. AttractWell, however, offers a flexible and budget-friendly start with unique SMS marketing and physical product options that are particularly appealing to small businesses or those just launching and their customer service is great. While AttractWell's design abilities can at times be more flexible is sometimes causes more hiccups for inexperienced designers.
